ABOUT
Ladon "Donnie" Ceto is a newer face on the Nieve underground scene, but his reputation is beginning to spread across the seedier parts of the city. This is partially because of who he is, an ambitious and ruthless man with a peculiar way of doing business. Once dismissed as someone too soft to make it in the world of organized crime, Ladon has lucked out and allied with some powerful crime bosses, including Joe Nason, King of Dead Man's Cove. After years of chasing down debts and sending messages written broken bones and severed digits, he's now found himself in the comfortable position of business owner and money launderer. He's about as close to his own man as he can be, given that he's still under Joe Nason's thumb.Your average mobster would either credit Ladon's determination or accuse him of dumb luck, but Ladon has not just found his place through those elements alone. Part of his success involves what he is. While Donnie Ceto walks the streets as a two-legged, cigarette-smoking thug, the true Ladon Ceto slinks through the shadows on claws and breathes smoke born of the fire in his belly. The vampires call him "city snake," and that suits him fine. He's found his place, among the other shape-shifters and magical creatures that call the ignorance of the city's normal civilians home. Ladon counts his money from his office at the Golden Apple, while humans dance the night away under his feet, oblivious to the monsters that run the jazz club. Nieve is a bastion of crime and debauchery, and his hoard grows with every little sin.
